The Waterford Greenway is a 46-kilometre trail stretching from Waterford City to Dungarvan, built along an old railway line. Along the way, visitors can enjoy historic railway stations, scenic bridges, tunnels, and viaducts, as well as attractions like Mount Congreve Gardens. Bike hire is available at multiple points, including Waterford City, Kilmacthomas, and Dungarvan, making it easy to explore the Greenway even if you don’t have your own bike. The Greenway is suitable for all ages and abilities, providing a relaxing outdoor experience while showcasing the natural and cultural beauty of County Waterford.
