The Show & Tell Bird Show at Mayfield Birds Of Prey Centre is one of the most engaging and educational birds of prey shows in Ireland.
This relaxed, interactive experience gives visitors the chance to get up close with a variety of birds of prey while learning directly from Willie, a qualified and licensed falconer. It’s informative, hands-on and designed for all ages — without being rushed or overly formal.
The Show & Tell is a shared, small group experience (maximum 12 people) lasting approximately 1 hour. Larger groups like schools should get in touch.
During the session, Willie introduces each bird one at a time, explaining:
Visitors are encouraged to ask questions, take photos and (where appropriate) handle the birds under supervision.
No two sessions are ever the same, the experience changes depending on the birds, the group and the questions asked.
Unlike large demonstrations where crowds are moved quickly through, the Show & Tell focuses on connection, learning and personal interaction.
