Show & Tell Falconry Experience

Duration: 1 hour

Start Times: Daily at 11:30am & 1:00pm (June–August) Weekends only in winter

The Show & Tell is a relaxed, interactive session where couples get up close with birds of prey while learning directly from Willie, a qualified falconer.

This is a shared experience (up to 12 people), ideal for couples who want an introduction to falconry in a friendly, engaging setting.

About:

You’ll meet a variety of hawks and owls, hear their stories, learn how they hunt and fly, and gain a deeper appreciation for their role in the wild. Questions are encouraged, and no two sessions are ever the same.

Private Hawk Walk – Couples Experience

Duration: Approx. 2 hours

Start Times: 9:00am & 2:30pm (June–August) Weekends in winter, 2pm midweek

If you’re looking for one of the most unique experiences in Waterford for couples, the Private Hawk Walk is hard to beat.

This is a private experience for you and your partner only no other groups involved.

About:

Led by Willie, you’ll walk through the countryside while a Harris hawk flies freely around you, perching in trees and returning to the glove as you move through the landscape.

It’s calm, immersive and incredibly special a shared experience that feels both exciting and peaceful, set within the natural beauty of Ireland’s Ancient East.
